Holly Schaff Nominated for Best Actress at CMF Hollywood for “Lily”

Congratulations to Holly Schaff, who is a national finalist for the Campus MovieFest Golden Tripod Awards. She is nominated for best actress and will be in the running against four other films to win next month at CMF Hollywood. She did a fantastic job and was a huge contribution to the project. We’d also like to thank New England Film for connecting us with all the actors and actresses associated with our film.
“Lily” Selected as National Staff Pick to Advance to CMF Hollywood

Our 5-minute short film “Lily”, created for Campus MovieFest 2012, has been selected as a nationwide Staff Pick by the CMF Staff and will therefore advance to screen and compete at CMF Hollywood in Los Angeles this summer! We’d like to thank the CMF staff and everyone who has supported us and our film for the past month. Campus MovieFest (CMF), is the world’s largest student film festival and a premier outlet for the next generation of filmmakers. See us featured on the CMF Homepage!
Send our short film “Lily” to Hollywood
Last week my friends and I spent 5 days making a short film for Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest student film festival. The premise of the contest is to make a 5-minute film in one week or less, it was as tiring as it sounds (shooting, editing, reshooting, sound editing, and coloring, in which most was done in a single 40-hour session). Our short film Lily is about a woman who is facing loss and struggles to hold a grip on reality. If we get the most online views by May 5, we will qualify for the national level of competition this summer in Los Angeles, so please enjoy and pass along. Thanks for your support and stay tuned for more exciting projects coming early this summer.
Boston Blackout Fire [Video]
As thousands are still without power today in the Back Bay, Massachusetts due to a major electrical fire in downtown Boston, I had nothing better to do than to go shoot some footage of the scene last night. With power still out, tonight will most likely be just as ominous as last night, check out this video.
A New Way to Make Night Life Plans

There’s a new and easy-to-use way to make nightlife plans in Boston and NYC. My friend Jose started a successful start-up that radically simplifies how you go about making plans with friends at nightlife venues. Within a minute, anyone can get instantly on a guest list at the best locations in the city with discounted entry fees and fast access. I recommend everyone give the website a look and consider using it for making plans in the coming weeks.
